Mary Masson is the director of public relations for Michigan Medicine, the academic medical center of the University of Michigan. She leads the team that promotes research and clinical care discoveries and treatments to the news media and the public, via social platforms, media outreach and the content platform, Health Lab. Masson has been a communicator for Michigan Medicine since 2009. Prior to that, she was a reporter and editor at the Detroit Free Press, Indianapolis Star and Flint Journal.
