Turner African American Services Council (TAASC)

The mission of the Turner African American Services Council (TAASC) is to serve as a liaison between the community and local health care providers by creating partnerships to increase and enhance access to wellness, health education, and health care for diverse and underserved older adults. 

TAASC envisions a community in which underserved older adults of color can experience an improved quality of health care and achieve an optimal quality of life.

Community Health Services & Geriatric Center Programs

Since 1997, Community Health Services has aligned community-based programs and services with Michigan Medicine and our community partners and offers a variety of programs to serve the needs of older adults. The Geriatrics Center also offers resources for older adults, including Social Work help.
