    Research Overview

Dr. Jamerson’s basic research addresses the role of sympathetic tone on the metabolism of glucose in human skeletal muscle. Current clinical research focuses on hypertensive nephropathy; non-invasive hemodynamic assessment of organ function and damage in the natural history of hypertension; and insulin resistance in hypertension.
