U-M offers great clinical training and academic infrastructure for me to grow as a resident physician. The program also has residents and faculties from extremely diverse backgrounds. Being able to learn from some of the brightest colleagues and mentors is truly a privilege. I also have family in Toronto, and Ann Arbor's proximity to Canada means I will have an easier time visiting family during residency!
